JOB DESCRIPTION
PURPOSE:
To drive vehicles and operate mobile farms machinery equipment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives buses, articulator and other trucks. pick-ups, saloon cars, land rovers
- Drives and operates tractor with mower and trailers
- Drives and operates farm machinery
- Undertakes the following checks
-
- Engine oil level daily
- Coolant level daily
- Electrolyte level periodically
- Battery terminals
- Brake fluid and clutch fluid levels
- Tyro pressures etc
- Ensures the cleanliness of vehicle.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of highway code
- Knowledge of simple vehicle mechanics
QUALIFICATION
- BECE plus Driving Licence D
- At least 3 years of experience Ina similar role
