Ghana Audit Service Job Positions 2019
JOB SUMMARY
• Undertake a variety of basic audits to confirm that transactions have been made in accordance with the rules and regulations and ascertain their accuracy and propriety;
• Be part to review all parts of the draft report against GAS policy and requirements, including ensuring that all findings, conclusions and recommendations are based on sufficient and relevant audit evidence and documented in the audit file
• Maintain adequate current audit file (working papers) for review by the Unit leader at the end of the audit;
• Prepare audit observations and supported with adequate working papers for submission to the Unit Leader;
• Accomplish tasks to meet deadlines and Report difficulties in following agreed plans to the Head of Unit; and
• Undertake any other job that may be assigned by the Team Leader, Unit Head or Departmental Head.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• A first Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Material Engineering or Mining Engineering or design and Architectural Engineering from accredited tertiary institution,
• A second Degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Material Engineering or Mining Engineering or design and Architectural Engineering from accredited tertiary institution
• National Service Certificate.

• knowledge of finance, relevant public sector laws and auditing standards,
