JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE:

Assists in the treatment and distribution of water for domestic and research purpose

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects main pipe track for leakages
• Cleans sedimentation tanks
• Pumps water from river into clear welt tank
• Pumps water from clear well tank to distribution tank
• Checks water level of the dam
• Checks water level of underground and elevated reservoir water tank for distribution
• Clears filter media

QUALIFICATION

• SSSCE/WASSCE Plus Certificate in Water Management Studies / NVT I & II Certificate in Plumbing/Water Treatment and Sanitation from a recognised Institution
