KNUST Undergraduate Fees 2021/2022, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology fees schedule & payment procedures for the 2021/2022 academic year.

KNUST Undergraduate Fees

The management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) school fees schedule to be paid by each undergraduate, sandwich, degree, diploma, masters, postgraduate and distance education (IDL) student respectively for the 2021/2022 academic session has been released.

www.knust.edu.gh/fees: The KNUST school fees structure contains the total amount payable by each undergraduate students for the 2021/2022 academic year.

The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at the KNUST. The Institute reserves the right to change fees without prior notice. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council and we will update it ASAP.

GUIDE FOR FRESHMEN ON WHAT TO DO WHEN OFFERED ADMISSION INTO THE KNUST

What to do about Payments and Registrations

1.The University re-opens for the 2015/2016 Academic year on Friday 4th September, 2015 for freshmen.

2.Successful applicants are to Print Provisional Offer of Admission letter online.

3.Download and print Acceptance letter to be filled and sent to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Private Mail Bag

Kumasi, Ghana.

4.International students are to submit original certificates as well as scratch card from WAEC to Room 109 at the Main Administration Block.

5.Students are required to pay the relevant Academic Fees and Residential Fees in Schedule A and the relevant Additional Charges in Schedule B into KNUST MAIN FEE COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following Banks: GCB BANK/ ECOBANK/ HFC BANK/ Standard Chartered Bank /

6.Residential Fees and Academic Fees should be paid separately into the same accounts using different pay-in-slips for each fee item (i.e. Residential Fees, Academic Fees).

7.Freshmen (Ghanaians) will be required to pay both the Academic Fees and Residential Fees in full to be able to log onto the online rooms selection system. Students are to use the residential Receipt Transaction_Id and Stud. Ref. Num/Application Number on the receipt to log into the online Room Allocation System for their room selection. Please note that, selection of rooms in affiliated halls is done online and operates on a first-come-first-served basis. Visit http://halls.knust.edu.gh to access the application.

8.International students assigned to GUSSS HOSTEL as Resident Students are to book for accommodation at least 72 hours before arrival. Students should contact the GUSSS Hostel secretariat via email: [email protected] for further enquiries.

NOTA BENE:

KNUST does NOT accept initials/abbreviations in names of its students. All such initials/abbreviations must be written in full.

All SUCH CORRECTIONS OF NAMES (Not Change of name) including wrong spelling of names must be addressed to Deputy Registrar (Academic) (Rm 108), in writing, with supporting Documents, before

MATRICULATION.

Students are to go for biometric enrollment and verification at their respective

Colleges/Faculties. The Centres are as follows ;

Building.

Freshmen are required to provide a copy of their provisional offer of admission

letter and personal mobile phone number during biometric enrollment and

verification. Your registration credentials will be sent by text to this number.

International Students are to come along with original offer of Admission letter.

Continuing students are to provide their Student ID Cards for verification.

Continuing student will have to confirm their school vodafone numbers.

All students are to submit a copy of their Pay-in-Slip at their respective

registration Centres to an accounts officer.

All issues with the credentials should be reported at the ICT Centre (first floor, main

Library Complex).

Freshmen are to collect their School Vodafone SIM Cards at their respective registration

centres.

Continuing students without the School Vodafone SIM Card should also visit the ICT

Centre.(First Floor, Main Library Complex) after 21st September, 2015

This School SIM will be the official means through which you will receive all alerts from

the University. It offers you 300MB data, 250 mins on-net talk time to other Vodafone

lines, 50 sms and free voice calls to all students on the package.

Locate any of the on-campus computer labs or any internet cafe and begin your Online

Course Registration.

The user registration credentials you received from KNUST will be used for this

and all other semester registrations and checking of results as well as accessing

your KNUST Mail.

Registration must be done by the student. As much as you may be assisted, do

not let anybody register courses for you.

To complete the online registration process, you must save and print a copy of

the registration slip.

Sign your part on the course registration slip and submit the other part to your

department Examination Officer for his/her signature.

The slip must be submitted as proof of registration for the semester. Failure to submit it

amounts to not registering at all.
