The Authority of National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) has released the Entry Requirement AKA Admission Requirement for prospective candidates that seek admission into the institution for the 2023/2024 academic year.

These requirements are for various programmes offered in the institution, it serves as a guide in the application process. All interested applicants are to read through carefully making sure that they fulfill the requirements before putting in an application.

National Film and Television Institute Admission Requirements 2023/2024.

The National Film and Television Institute admission requirements for 2023/2024 academic session are as follows:

Entry Requirement

Candidates applying for the Diploma or Bachelor of Film Arts must obtain credit in English Language, Literature in English, Physics and any other four subjects in the humanities at not more than two (2) sittings, in addition to at least a pass in Mathematics at SSCE, GCE ‘0’ Level.

Applicants must write the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtain the approved scores in the Use of English (compulsory) and three other subjects.

Candidates should hold a Diploma in Mass Communication of the National Film Institute and Media Arts Studies, Jos, Diploma in Journalism or Television Journalism, Television Production and any other qualification as may be approved from a recognized institution with a minimum of Merit Pass.

The Certificate program is run quarterly by the Institute spanning between 6 to 12 weeks. Reminder adverts are usually placed online and other media for this program.

The Outreach program is usually organized for willing Institutions and corporate organizations on demand.
