Our client is a producer of quality processed and packaged vegetables for local and international markets and a registered member of the Association of Ghana Industry (AGI), National Board for Small Scale Industry (NBSSI), Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association of Ghana (VEPEAG), Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), GhanaVeg among others. As part of helping it increase its sales volume in the local market, we require the services of sales personnel to carry out the responsibility of identifying potential customers and procuring orders for our client’s product(s). These sales personnel will operate mainly in areas in Accra.

Key Responsibilities of the Job

·      Reach out to customer leads through cold calling

·      Present, promote and sell products to prospective customers

·      Establish new sales accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on

potential sales customers/outlets

·      Obtain and fulfil orders from customers and ensure payments for orders are received.

·      Maintain positive customer relationships

·      Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

·      Coordinate sales effort with team members

·      Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports

·      Supply team lead with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities,

and potential for new products.

·      Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

·      Continuously improve through feedback

Qualification, Skills and Competencies

·      HND/Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing or any related

discipline

·      Proven work experience as a sales representative

·      Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel

·      Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales

·      Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

·      Ability to build and manage productive business relationships

·      Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

·      Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs

·      Openness to feedback

·      Must live in Accra/Tema and its environs

·      Should be available to start work from 2nd March 2020.
