UNDERGRADUATE MEDICAL PROGRAMME ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

COURSE DURATION: 6 YEARS

WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants

CREDIT PASSES IN THREE (3) OF THE FOLLOWING ELECTIVE SUBJECTS:

• Chemistry and two from Physics
• Biology
• Elective Mathematics

IGCSE/GCE (Cambridge) – ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels

CREDIT PASSES IN THREE (3) OF THE FOLLOWING ‘A’ LEVEL SUBJECTS:

• Chemistry and two from Physics
• Biology
• Mathematics

WASSCE/SSSCE Applicants from the West African Sub-region

CREDIT PASSES IN THREE (3) OF THE FOLLOWING ELECTIVE SUBJECTS:

• Chemistry and two from Physics
• Biology
• Further Mathematics

International Baccalaureate (IB)

CREDIT PASSES IN THREE (3) OF THE FOLLOWING ‘A’ LEVEL  SUBJECTS:

• Chemistry and two from Physics
• Biology
• Mathematics

GRADUATE MEDICAL PROGRAMME ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

COURSE DURATION: 4 YEARS

Requirements

• Must hold a good First Degree (Second Class or better) in Basic Medical, Biological, Biomathematical, Physical Sciences, or any relevant science-related subject.
• Must show evidence of having completed the National Service, where required.

Candidates would be admitted to Level 300.
