Details of GRUNDFOS Vacancy Position & How to Apply.

Do you want to change lives and provide clean water to those in need?

With the Grundfos Ghana Water Initiative we are aiming to deliver clean and safe water to 1 million people in Ghana. It is a new way of securing safe water to those who do not have access today.

We are going to set up and operate water stations, and with the speed and growth of this project, we will need your help.

We are looking for an experienced professional to take up the role of a Technical Manager which will be based in our Grundfos Ghana office in Accra.

What is the job about?

Being part of the ā€œGhana Water Initiativeā€ the Technical Manager will contribute to the clean water challenge in Ghana by being responsible for the design, operation and continuous development of water systems.

As the Technical Manager, you will have a leading role in setting the standards for the Grundfos water systems in Ghana.

Some of your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Being responsible for and overall operation of the Grundfos Water stations in Ghana;
  • A key figure in the development and contracting of the systems;
  • Continuous improvement of the set water systems, setting KPIs and operational measures;
  • Supporting and supervising operational site managers;
  • Technical planning of new systems;
  • Setting the standards for water systems and how they are operated;
  • Ensuring that the systems can supply the demand.

What do you need to apply?

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

  • A degree/diploma in Engineering;
  • Minimum of 3 years similar experience;
  • Must have experience designing and operating water supply/utility and/or water treatment systems;
  • Preferably has exposure to the Pump Industry.
  • Preferably has understanding and knowledge of rotating equipment, pumping applications, systems where pumps are operating, controls, BMS and communication protocols.
  • Must have the ability to listen and demonstrate good command of English both spoken and written. Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels both within the company and in the sales field.
