Spiritan University College admission requirements 2023/2024 | The Spiritan University College, SUC entry requirements have been released for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The Authority of Spiritan University College (SUC) has publicized the Admission Entry Requirement for prospective candidates that seek admission into the institution for the 2023/2024 academic year.
These requirements are for various programmes offered in the institution, it serves as a guide in the application process. All interested applicants are to read through carefully making sure that they fulfil the requirements before putting in an application.

Spiritan University College Admission Requirements 2023/2024
The requirements and cut-off points for Spiritan University College for an applicant determined to join the school are as follows
1. Interested candidates must have attained a minimum of five credits at no more than two sittings in the WASSCE, SSCE or NECO and these must include English, Mathematics and prerequisite combination of courses for the desired programme of study.
2. Candidates applying to Spiritan University College must possess at least the National Cut-off score in the 2023/2024 UTME of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)
The University requirements of admission are always in line with the set standards of the National Accreditation Board, The Spiritan University mentor universities, that is; Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), University of Cape Coast (UCC) and Duquesne University (USA), and acquired in at most two sittings.
These admission requirements are:
1. SSSCE HOLDERS
Interested candidates must have six credits (A-D) in three Core subjects (Core English, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies) plus credits (A-D) in three elective subjects with an aggregate of 24 or better.
2. WASSCE holders
Interested candidates must have six credits (A1-C6) in three Core subjects (Core English, Core Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies) plus credits (A1-C6) in three elective subjects with an aggregate of 36 or better.
3. G.C.E “O” level applicants
Candidates in this Category must be holders of General Certificate Examination Ordinary Level with five (5) credits including English and Mathematics and three (3) passes in Advanced Level including General Paper.
4. Diploma holders
Candidates must have attained the above requirements plus a Diploma from a recognized institution with a cumulative point of 3.0 or even better.
5. Foreign Students
Candidates from foreign countries will be admitted if they have qualifications equivalent to those stated above. Those from non-English speaking countries must show evidence of fluency in English.
Entry requirements for admission to level 100
1. SSSCE/WASSSCE Holders
A candidate who intends to apply for a degree programme in either the BSc. or BSc. in Administration must have attained credits in three (3) Core Subjects, that is; English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science or Social Studies, plus credits in three WASSSCE/SSSCE elective subjects in General Arts, General Science or Business.
2. GBCE/ABCE Level Holders
Interested applicants holding passes in three (3) core and three (3) elective subjects in General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE), or passes in three (3) core and three (3) elective subjects in Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) plus passes in three core subjects at WASSSCE/SSSCE . Candidates with GBCE will also be considered for admission if they have five (5) credits including English and Mathematics plus three (3) passes in Advanced Level.
3. Professional Certificate Holders
Applicants holding Stage 1 of ACCA, or ICA, or Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), Associate of Chartered Institute of Bankers ACIB), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), must also have attained passes at WASSSCE/SSSCE in three core subjects.
4. Mature Applicants
Candidates applying as mature applicants must be at least 25 years with passes in the core subjects,( i.e.) English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science or Social Studies plus three elective subjects at the SSSCE/WASSSCE, or credits in Five GCE ‘O’ Level Subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Short-listed applicants shall take an Entrance Examination and must pass an interview.
5. Foreign Students
International students or non-Ghanaian applicants will be admitted to either the BSc. or BSc in Business Administration programmes if they possess equivalent qualifications or qualifications similar to those mentioned above. Those from non-English speaking countries will be required to show evidence of being fluency in English.
Entry requirements for admission to level 200
Higher National Diploma holders
Holders of Higher National Diploma in programmes other than HND Accountancy shall be admitted to Level 200 in the BSc Accounting programme.
Entry requirements for admission to level 300
Higher National Diploma holders
Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy (first or second- class upper/lower division) shall be admitted to Level 300 on the BSc Accounting programme. Those with HND qualifications lower than the above may be considered for admission into level 200.

Spiritan University College fees
The Spiritan University College tuition fee has to be paid in full before a student is allowed to undertake the end of semester examinations. Scholarships offered at Spiritan University College
In recognition of the distinguished efforts by the founder Father of Spiritan University College, Rev.Fr. Francis Ato Jackson Donkoh, the University has offered scholarships to various students. Ejisu, a former rector at the Spiritan University had a great desire in educating women in the college. There has been a fund in honour of Rev. Frs. Francis Ato Jackson Donkoh and Ernest Ayitttey Akorsou. However, there are requirements the applicants have to meet before admission to the Spiritan University College.
The eligible applicant must meet the following criteria.
- They shall be a Ghanaian female student
- They must been studying for at least a year at Spiritan University College (SUC);
- They must have attained at least a Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) of 55%;
- Must be a bonafide student in one of the following departments: all departments in the School of Business, Department of Sociology and Social Work, Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences or Department of Education;
- Can produce beyond reasonable doubt evidence that she cannot pay her fees:
On a special occasion, the Rector on the advice of a Head of Department may recommend a student whose CWA is below 55% to apply for the award.
Size of awards
- The size of the scholarship award will depend on the peculiar circumstances of each applicant.
- Maximum amount worth of scholarship will be full fees of the beneficiary.
- Awards in the form of total fees may be given to applicants whose background proves extreme poverty.
- This will be determined by a filled questionnaire filed by the applicant and information thoroughly screened from data held by SUC and other interviewers.
How to apply
The interested students should pick the application forms from the registrar’s office when the advertisement is out. Completely-filled forms should be returned to the college on the specified date on the advertisement.
